Growing up in a little town Hudson, NH with small ponds around me I learned quickly how the fish use different cover in different weather. NH also has many rivers and that allowed me to learn how river fishing differs from impoundment bodies of water. I started fishing tournaments at the age of 18 and learned quickly that having spent all those years fishing as a kid made my transition into tournaments easier than most people. Fishing in other states around the Northeast I had to deal with tidal waters and that proved to be helpful as the years went by. Nothing from up North prepared me for the shallow weed filled lakes of Florida.

Having been involved with tournament fishing and having my wife Lauren fishing tournaments was a plus when we started to have children. I can remember having them in the boat with a car seat for them to sit in and I can remember the kids being like 7 & 8 years old and being able to load my Rangers on the trailer as I backed down the ramp. Now I will have the pleasure of doing the same for my grandson Hunter.

Accomplishments
• Many wins in club tournaments as well as open tournaments in NH
• NH N.A.B.A angler of the year and tournament of Champion winner
• Many wins and top five finishes in Florida after having faced that learning curve of converting from a deep water Northern Angler to a Shallow Weed angler.
